 Research and Development is of huge importance for any country. For Self Reliant India R&D is very important and we need to focus on Research and development to make this a reality.

R&D comprises of overall economy each and every section of economy not any single section or single domain. 

Today India is very good in space programme. Its space organization ISRO is one of the most prestigious space orgainzation in the world but when we compare ISRO with NASA, we can find out NASA is ahead of ISRO, so here the need of R&D arises.

R&D is very important in Agriculture sector also. India is a agriculture based economy from independence and major portion of India's export comprises of agricultural product but when we talk about technological aspect we are far behind many countries.

R&D is very important for any country and it is a strong pillar for self reliant India.
